We pray that each child in our children’s ministry will learn to KNOW, LOVE, FOLLOW and SERVE Jesus! We hope that as your child is involved in this ministry, Grace can stand with you to encourage and develop a strong foundation of faith in their life. We want them to know and experience the immeasurable depth of God’s love for them through their time here at Grace!
Vacation Bible School: June 10-June 14, 2024
VBS is June 10-June 14, 2024 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Click here to register your children or volunteer to help. The theme for 2024 is Scuba! Kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
Sunday Morning Ministry
Grace has an exciting Children’s ministry where your children can explore the stories of the Bible and learn about their faith in Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment. They are welcome to join you in the worship service for the praise and music then they will adjourn to their classrooms where they can be picked up after the worship service.
For our youngest members we have a well staffed nursery, but please know your children are always welcome in the worship setting.
All staff members plus children and youth ministry volunteers have to complete a background screening and a Child and Youth Protection Policy training session. The training video can be viewed by clicking here.
Children of all ages are invited to Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. Children will interact with the Bible through stories, art, drama, science, and hands on activities!
- Children VPK and younger meet in room 121.
- Children K-6th meet in room 221.
Scouting
Grace is honored to be the Charter Organization for Boy Scout Troop 369 and Cub Scout Pack 369. These groups are open to boys from first grade through age 18. The church also provides meeting space for numerous Girl Scout troops. Grace has dedicated a three classroom building on the west side of campus as our Scout Lodge, providing a home for over thirty scouting meetings a month. Warren W. Willis Summer Camp
Students going into 4th through 12th grade can enjoy a week of summer fun at the Warren W. Willis camp – our United Methodist Youth Camp! The cost is $400 per camper and scholarships are available for those in need of financial assistance. Camp registration may be done online here. Once registration is complete, submit the completed application to Patti Willhardt to finalize the process. Contact Patti with any questions.
