Grace offers many opportunities to care for and support one another as we journey together. This care and support can be a crucial part of one’s road to wholeness, and we are blessed to be here to support our community!
The Grace UMC Food Pantry (part of the Standing in the Gap ministry) seeks to provide food to those who are hungry & in financial need. Jesus fed thousands of his followers during his ministry, having compassion upon them for their hunger. In seeking to be a church modeled after Christ, we want to also have compassion upon those who are in need. Our food pantry is open Thursday mornings from 9am-12pm in our Fellowship Hall. The first Thursday of the month is Government Day and we will be handing out to all of Brevard County residents. On subsequent Thursdays during the month we will be handing out to Merritt Island residents only with a valid ID. If you are interested in helping with this valuable ministry to our community, please call the church office for more information @ 321-452-2420.
The Children / Adult Clothes Closet at Grace seeks to provide quality clothing for children & families who are in need. If you would like to donate clothing, please drop it off at the church office. The clothes closet is open from 10am-12pm on the second and last Thursday of the month. If you are interested in helping please contact the church office @ 321-452-2420 for more information.
Four Saturdays each year we gather assorted cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items and we open our doors to our community members who can come to shop for the items they need.
