Grant Norsworthy: Child Advocate & Musician

Grammy-nominated professional musician Grant Norsworthy will be visiting Grace and sharing a song and short talk at all three Sunday morning worship services, plus performing with the praise band at the 5 PM family-friendly contemporary service we call The Five. He played bass guitar in the top Christian contemporary group Sonicflood. From his home base in New Zealand, he now combines his musical talents with public speaking, using his platform to advocate for children in need through his ministry partner Compassion International, which seeks to lift children out of poverty through sponsorships. Visit the Compassion International website to learn more about sponsoring a child.

Referencing one of his former band Sonicflood’s biggest hits “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever”, Grant explains that, “Yes, we can sing of God’s love forever, but we must be God’s love now! Singing and gathering together are important ways we can express worship. But I am convinced that God commands us to worship Him – or ‘show His worth’ – by surrendering completely to Him and by being conduits, here and now, for the compassionate, self-sacrificial love of Jesus – especially towards the poor.” Visit Grant’s website to learn more about this amazing musician and his ministry.
