Rev. Tom Berlin, Resident Bishop of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, will share the message at this special one-service Sunday to kick-off the celebration of Grace United Methodist Church’s 65th anniversary year. The service will be followed by lunch in the Fellowship Hall. We will be using Bishop Berlin’s book “The Third Day” to guide our Lenten Season focus this year. You can order a copy on Amazon at https://a.co/d/4RwiwIF or wherever you purchase books.
Formally organized on February 26, 1961, Grace’s congregation met in the old Barn Theatre on the Merritt Island Causeway until a sanctuary could be build on Needle Blvd., a space that is still Grace’s Fellowship Hall today. Read more about Grace’s history as we begin a year of celebration centered around the theme of “Sharing God’s Grace: 65 Years & Counting.”
