We offer two worship services each Sunday morning. We celebrate who God is and what God is doing in our lives and community each time we gather to worship. Whether you enjoy singing traditional hymns and choir anthems or maybe you prefer modern music with a band, you’ll experience a message of hope and love through our worship here at Grace.
We pray that you’ll join us for one of our Sunday services and come to know and love being part of the Grace family!
Quick answers to your biggest questions!
- What are your services like?
- What should I wear?
- How long are your services?
- When are the church’s services?
- What about my children?
- How do I become a member of Grace?
What are your services like?
Grace’s services focus mostly on worship and preaching. We’ll share some announcements during the morning, express our hearts to God through music, and hear a teaching about God’s word. The 9:00am service utilizes a range of music styles with a foundation of hymns and contemporary worship music. The music at the 11:00am service is modern worship music. The sermon at both services is identical. We close each service with an open invitation to respond to the worship time through prayer, fellowship and communion.
What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable. You can “dress up” if you want, or wear casual clothes. We care more that you’re here, than what you wear.
How long are your services?
Our services last about 50-55 minutes and contain music and teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.
When are the church’s services?
We have 2 services every Sunday morning at 9:00 and 11:00am. Throughout the year, typically on holiday weekends, we have one service Sundays where our entire church community can worship together. Please check out our events page for days and times of these special services.
What about my children?
Grace has an exciting children’s ministry where your children can explore the stories of the Bible and learn about their faith in Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment. They are welcome to join you in the worship service for the praise and music then they will adjourn to their classrooms where they can be picked up after the worship service.
For our youngest members we have a well staffed nursery, but please know your children are always welcome in the worship setting.
All staff members plus children and youth ministry volunteers have to complete a background screening and a Child and Youth Protection Policy training session. The training video can be viewed by clicking here.
How do I become a member of Grace?
Our church home is always open to anyone seeking a closer relationship with God. To officially join Grace involves a profession or reaffirmation of faith or a membership transfer from another Methodist church. Members must also have been baptized, which could have been performed at any age. Our pastoral staff offers classes to learn about the essentials of our Christian faith, to explore the Methodist heritage and what we believe and to discuss our local congregation’s ministries and how you can get involved. We also offer annual Confirmation classes for young people. Students are eligible for confirmation in sixth grade and meet regularly over several months (usually in the spring) to explore their faith and learn about the Methodist church. Upon completion, they have the option of joining Grace as a full church member. We invite you to discuss membership at any time by calling the church office.
