Personally, I have loved seeing the parents and children on our campus this week as school has resumed. We have 108 children, ages 2 through 5, enrolled at Grace United Methodist Preschool this year. Ms. Patti does a great job in leading our preschool, and this is why our reputation in the community is excellent.
Friends, I am so grateful that a very large percentage of our Grace family is fully vaccinated. It is clear that most of those in our hospitals with COVID are unvaccinated. I realize that some people cannot receive the vaccine for medical reasons. However, if you are medically able to get the vaccine, I strongly encourage you to study the facts and consider getting the vaccine as soon as possible.
As we prepare to launch a new worship schedule on September 12, please remember to pray for our music and worship teams as we try some new things and seek God’s guidance in growing the church.
This Sunday we will look at Psalm 111 and 1 Kings 3:3-14 as I share a message entitled “What is Wisdom?” How is wisdom different from knowledge? What can we learn from the life of King Solomon about the pursuit of wisdom and the enemies of wisdom? I appreciate your prayers as I work on this week’s message.
