I remain committed to my Bible reading plan for 2022, and it keeps me centered on the priority of faith. You may recall that I shared this plan on the church Facebook page and on my personal Facebook page. I hope many of you are following this plan. It is not too late to adopt the plan. As of January 28, the reading plan is through all of Genesis and to chapter 32 of Exodus. Personally, I am enjoying using The Message devotional Bible, as it offers insightful commentary and a conversational translation.
Our quarterly country store event is scheduled for February 12. Please remember to donate items for this important ministry. The list of items needed is in the Gracevine and in the weekly bulletin.
We have seven of our children currently in Ms. Niki’s confirmation class, and we are likely to add an additional two or three. Ms. Niki would love for you to help with confirmation by providing meals or serving as a mentor. Contact Ms. Niki to choose how you want to serve.
This Sunday Pastor Beth will be sharing a message entitled “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” based upon 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13. The scripture is a familiar one, yet I believe Pastor Beth will offer a refreshing perspective on its meaning and relevance for all of us. Will you commit to join us online or in person to worship? Please also remember to pray for our worship leaders.
Finally, friends, I invite you to step out in faith this week and invite at least two people to worship, either in person or online. I will commit to do it and I hope you will join me.
See you Sunday!
