Celebrating Frances Brush: 43 Years of Service at Grace!

Wow! There is so much going on at Grace the next few days! Sunday we will celebrate Frances Brush’s 43 years of service to Grace and the Merritt Island community. The luncheon will begin at 12:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall and we look forward to lots of laughter and stories of life together over the years.

If you have already turned in your 2020 pledge card, thank you! We hope to receive them all by this Sunday so that we can plan next year’s budget. There will be blank pledge cards in the Narthex if you need one. So many of you are faithful every year in your giving, and it is because of you that we are able to support so many ministries.

Next Monday, September 30, we have our annual church conference at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Our new District Superintendent, Rev. Dionne Hammond, will be here to lead the church conference. Please come out, meet our new D.S., and celebrate the fact that we have already paid 100% of our apportionments for 2019.

My message Sunday will be based upon Jeremiah 18:1-6. We are all “clay in the potters hand” as followers of Christ, but there are ways that we can make it easier, or more difficult, for Christ to mold us and shape us. Much of this is our choice.

I hope you will pray for our worship services, invite friends to join us, and come to worship expecting a Holy Spirit encounter! I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
