COVID and Mask Section

I have become increasingly aware of increases in COVID cases. Please remember that we have a reserved section of the sanctuary for folks who feel safer wearing masks indoors. If you sit on the side of the sanctuary closest to the organ, remember that masks are required in that section. We have plenty of masks available for anyone who forgets to bring one. Our goal is to honor the guidelines we have put in place so that people who attend worship know that if they sit in the mask-only section, they can expect everyone in that section to wear a mask. I appreciate your attention to this as we continue to navigate the challenges of this virus.

As a new school year approaches, I was grateful to hear that our volunteers for MILA were able to paint two classrooms last Monday. The project was planned for two separate days, but many hands really do make for light, and quick, work. Thank you to everyone who made it happen!

This Sunday, the scripture passages are Psalm 51: 1-12 and Ephesians 4: 1-16. Pastor Beth will offer a message entitled “One.” This is the first Sunday of the month, so there will be an open communion table and an opportunity to receive communion in person. As always, I appreciate your prayers for our worship team and please remember to extend a warm welcome to any new faces on our campus.

Friends, our growth as a community of deeply committed followers of Christ is dependent upon our efforts at getting to know new people. Please share our Grace Facebook page which includes our worship services. Some folks may choose to check us out online before coming to worship in person. The best advertisement for this church is your personal testimony about how your faith is nurtured here. Thanks for sharing!

May God richly bless each of you and your families this week!

See you Sunday! Pastor Steve Hart
