Spring has officially arrived, and the schools are back from spring break. This is an especially busy time of year as families start thinking about graduations and many young people plan for the next chapter of their lives. With so much in our world that is negative, it is good to focus on positive plans for the future and to support those who are moving into adulthood.
Our United Methodist Atlantic Central District has scheduled a leadership training event for April 2, 2022 at Suntree United Methodist Church. The event will begin at 9:00am and end at 12:30pm. Please consider attending and sign up at flumc.org/thrive.
This Sunday, March 27, the scripture passage is Matthew 14: 32-33. Pastor Gary will share a message entitled “How Big is Your God?” The short scripture verses this week are filled with meaning. After you read them, I think Pastor Gary’s message title will make sense to you. I look forward to hearing this message!
This Friday evening, I will be going with Ms. Niki and our confirmands to a service at a local Temple. It is an important part of the confirmation journey to encounter another faith tradition and to appreciate our roots in Judaism.
