Dear Grace Family: I am writing this Gracevine from Lakeland, as I am handling a matter for the Florida Conference office this week. I look forward to officiating a wedding this weekend. It is the wedding of Ms. Melody Hall, granddaughter of Sherry and Dan Bruce, and Mr. Tyler Rye, son of Tanya and Brian Rye. The wedding is not at Grace, but it is exciting to officiate a wedding for families who are members. Their wedding brings joy to a year that could use some joy!
This Sunday, Pastor Beth will be preaching on Psalm 123 and 1 Thessalonians 5: 1-11. The message is entitled “Surprise”, and it is all about relationships. Please pray for Pastor Beth and for me and for all of your church staff. While ministry is a privilege, it is also extremely difficult and often overwhelming. We depend upon your prayers.
