Dear Grace Family: Hopefully you all received word that our pumpkin delivery will be delayed, but we anticipate that the pumpkins will be here by the middle of next week. We look forward to the opportunity to bless the community with the tradition of the patch, and we ask everyone to follow all the safety rules so that we minimize COVID risks.
Our campus is pretty busy these days, with our preschool, food pantry, MOPS group, and several small groups starting to meet regularly. Thanks to all of you for wearing masks and observing social distancing guidelines.
Pastor Beth will be leading a “Lands of the Bible Cruise” in the fall of 2021. We have brochures about this trip in the church office. I mention the trip now because It takes time to plan and organize. The trip begins on September 18, 2021, so it is only 11 months away. Time flies, indeed!
This Sunday, October 11, our scripture readings are Psalm 106: 1-6 and Exodus 32: 1-14. The message that I have prepared is entitled “When God Repents.” You will probably recognize this passage from Exodus as the story of the golden calf. Please pray for me and our worship team each week as we lead worship. We depend upon your prayers.
